Archaeology declared as protected sites 02 rock shelters-Barhajharia & Hahamada- Archaeological department soon will declare two rock shelters- Bahajharia & Hahamada of Korba, C.G. as protected sites.

RBI Governor told about the launching of Digital currency- RBI Governer Shatikanta Das told that Central bank may launch the pilot of its digital currency by December 2021. The use of distributed ledger technology(DLT), is yet to finalize for use in digital currency.

Government reviews consumer protection rules for E-commerce- The Government is reviewing the draft consumer protection rules for e-commerce. In this direction, it has begun work on an “India specific model” for the likes of Amazon and Flipkart to collaborate effectively with mom-and-pop stores.

Drones are allowed to deliver food, medicine- The government has allowed around 20 entities incl. swiggy, Dunzo and SpiceJet to carry out experimental flights of drones ‘beyond visual line of sight(BVLOS)’.This came after the Aviation ministry granted conditional exemption from Unmanned Aircraft System(UAS) rules, 2021.

Ex-PM Narasimha Rao’s home in Telangana to become Museum-Telangana tourism minister V Srinivas Goud told, that the Former Indian Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao’s ancestral village Vangara in Telangana’s Karimnagar district is all set to transform into a tourism site. 

My Pad My Right project- Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman launched the ‘My Pad My Right’ (MPMR) project on the last day of her Tripura visit.This project is an initiative of NABARD and its NAB Foundation ‘to provide better livelihood and menstrual hygiene to women in rural areas through grants, wage support and capital equipment.’
