Uttam Kumar Sarkar, IIM-C new Director- After a gap of 5 months, Uttam Kumar sarkar took charge as a Director of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Uttam Kumar has been associated with Institute for two and half decades as a faculty and teaches Management Information System(MIS).

Arogya Dhara 2.0 launched-Mansukh Mandaviya, Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya inaugurated Arogya Dhara 2.0 to increase the reach of Ayushman Bharat – Jan Arogya Yojana and create more awareness about the scheme. The minister launched three initiatives — Adhikar Patra, Abhinandan Patra, and Ayushman Mitra. Adhikar Patra will be issued to the beneficiaries during their hospital admissions for treatment under the PM-JAY scheme to make them aware of their rights so that they can claim free and cashless health care services.

Ubharte Sitaare launched by Finance Minister-Union finance minister Ms Nirmala Sitharaman launch the ‘Ubharte Sitaare’ fund for export-oriented firms and startups. The ‘Ubharte Sitaare Fund’ is a mixture of structured support, both financial and advisory services through investments in equity or equity-like instruments, debt (funded and non-funded) and technical assistance (advisory services, grants and soft loans) to the Indian companies.
