Agriculture soon to be a subject in schools in Maharashtra-The state government has asked the Maharashtra State Council of Education Research and Training Institute(MSCERT) and Maharashtra Council of Agriculture, Education and Research(MCAER) to jointly prepare the curriculum for ‘agriculture’ taught as a subject.

Vatsalaya scheme’ launched by Maharashtra for women who lost their husbands to Covid-19- ‘Vatsalaya scheme’ launched by Yashomati Thakur, Maharastra’s Minister for Women and Child Development. Mission Vatsalya is aimed to serve around 18 benefits, schemes, services to such women from rural areas with impoverished backgrounds. Efforts are being made by the Department of Women and Child Development to provide 18 different services to help such women as well as help them to get the certificates they need. This includes a number of schemes like Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Yojana, Gharkul Yojana for these women. As per sources, 405 applications have been filed for the benefit of the Shravanbal Seva state pension scheme. 1,209 women to avail the benefits of the Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme.
