National award to Bastar lecturer -Pramod Kumar Shukla, lecturer of state-run Eklavya Model residential school will receive a national award from the Government for his outstanding work. The Union Ministry of education has declared the list of National awards for 2021 to teachers for their outstanding work. The Eklavya model residential school is run by the Tribal and scheduled Caste Welfare department in the state.
School Teacher imparting tech-enabled education from last 13 yrs.- Ishwari Kumar Sinha, a government school teacher in the Balod district of Chhattisgarh has been providing technology-enabled education to underprivileged kids for the last 13 years. He started this initiative in 2011 by buying a small sound system to equip children with technology. He had spent around Rs. 8 lakhs in the last 13 years of service with the support of another school teacher and panchayat.
