SpaceX launches ants, avocados, robots to the space station- The delivery — due to arrive Monday — is the company’s 23rd for NASA in just under a decade. A recycled Falcon rocket blasted into the predawn sky from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. After hoisting the Dragon capsule, the first-stage booster landed upright on SpaceX’s newest ocean platform, named “A Shortfall of Gravitas”.The Dragon is carrying more than 4,800 pounds (2,170 kilograms) of supplies and experiments, and fresh food including avocados, lemons and even ice cream for the space station’s seven astronauts.

Web-version of e-Gopala launched-E-GOPALA, the web version developed by the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has been launched to aid dairy farmers. With it, the i-MAP web portal was also launched that provides real-time information to dairy farmers for better productivity of dairy animals

Indian Railways floats tender for 58 Vande Bharat Trains-This Tender was floated in a bid to roll out 75 such trains during 75 weeks of “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. As per the tender, 102 Vande Bharat trains will be delivered to the Railways by March 2024. Out of 102, 75 will be available by August 15, 2022. Presently, two Vande Bharat trains are in operation first, Delhi to Katra and second, Delhi to Varanasi. The new coaches will be manufactured at the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) in Chennai, Modern Coach Factory (MCF) in Rae Bareilly and Rail Coach Factory (RCF) in Kapurthala.

RBI enhances per transaction ceiling 4-fold to ₹2 lakh- The Reserve Bank of India has made enhancements to the Indo-Nepal Remittance Facility Scheme, whereby the ceiling per transaction has been increased four-fold to ₹2 lakh and the cap of 12 remittances in a year per remitter has been also removed.

Renamed Army Sports Institute Stadium, Pune- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday renamed the Army Sports Institute at Pune after Tokyo Olympics gold medallist Neeraj Chopra. He named the Army Sports Institute(ASI) stadium “Neeraj Chopra Stadium”.

India’s first Quantum Computer Simulator toolkit- The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India launched the country’s first ‘Quantum Computer Simulator (QSim) Toolkit’. QSim is developed by IIT-Roorkee, IISc Bangalore, C-DAC jointly. QSim is a first-of-its-kind toolkit to be indigenously developed and is intended to be a vital tool in learning and understanding the practical aspects of programming using Quantum Computers.
