AYUSH AAPKE DWAR campaign launched- AYUSH AAPKE DWAR campaign launched by Ayush Ministry from more than 45 locations across the country. The campaign aims to distribute medicinal plant saplings to 75 lakh households in one year. These medicinal plants include Tejpatta, Stevia, Ashoka, Giloy, Ashwagandha, Lemongrass, Tulsi, Sarpagandha and Amla.

India in Elite club for missile tracing technology-India deployed its first specialized research ship to track incoming nuclear-tipped ballistic missiles and aircraft. The indigenous 15,000-tonne missile range instrumentation ship, packed with long-range radars, dome-shaped tracking antenna and advanced electronics will be commissioned as INS DHRUV.

HDFC Life to acquire Exide Life Insurance for ₹6,687 crore- In a major move, HDFC Life Insurance has announced the 100% acquisition of Exide Life Insurance. HDFC Life will acquire a 100% stake in Exide Life Insurance from Exide Industries via issuance of 8,70,22,222 shares at an issue price of Rs. 685 per share and a cash payout of Rs. 726 crore, aggregating to Rs. 6,687 crore.

Mission SAGAR: INS Airavat Reaches Sattahip To Deliver COVID Relief Materials To Thailand- As part of the ongoing Mission SAGAR, INS Airavat on Friday arrived at Sattahip, Thailand with COVID Relief Material. The ship is delivering 300 oxygen concentrators based on the requirement projected by the Government of Thailand in its fight against the ongoing COVID19 pandemic. Defence Ministry said, INS Airavat has been deployed to deliver COVID relief to friendly foreign nations in South East Asia who are battling the COVID19 pandemic under the aegis of Mission SAGAR (Security and Growth for All in the Region). The ship INS Airavat has taken an active part in the nation’s effort to battle COVID19 since April this year.
