Government approves PLI scheme for auto, drone sectors- The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved a ₹26,058 crore production linked incentive (PLI) scheme for auto, auto-components and drone industries to enhance India’s manufacturing capabilities, Union Minister Anurag Thakur said

‘Shoonya’ Campaign launched by NITI Aayog, RMI, and RMI India – NITI Aayog, with RMI and RMI India’s support, today launched Shoonya—an initiative to promote zero-pollution delivery vehicles by working with consumers and industry. The campaign aims to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) in the urban deliveries segment and create consumer awareness about the benefits of zero-pollution delivery.

Relief package announced for the telecom sector The Union Cabinet has approved a crucial relief package for the telecom sector. Shares of telecom firms rose sharply after the approval. The government has also approved the production-linked incentive scheme for the auto sector.
